This Privacy Policy explains what personal data SparxPrep collects, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over your own information as a user of sparxprep.in.
Your privacy matters. We only collect data needed to provide our services, and we never sell your personal information to third parties. See Your Rights below to request access to or deletion of your data.
We collect information you provide directly to us when you register for an account, enroll in courses, fill out career roadmap forms, or participate in mock tests. This includes your name, email address, age, mobile number, and academic details. We also automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Platform, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and time spent on the Platform, through cookies and similar technologies.
Information is collected when you create an account (including via Google Sign-In), enroll in a paid or free course, submit a form, take a mock test, contact our support team, or interact with the Platform in ways that generate usage data (such as pages viewed and features used). Payment-related information is collected and processed by our third-party payment gateway and is not stored on our own servers.
We use your data to provide and maintain your account, manage course access, deliver live classes, track your progress in mock tests, and provide customer support. With your consent, we may also use your mobile number to send placement updates or job alerts via WhatsApp/SMS as part of our placement assistance program. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to understand usage patterns and improve the Platform.
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you register an account or opt in to WhatsApp/SMS updates), to perform our contract with you (providing the course or service you purchased), and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). You may withdraw consent at any time as described in the "Your Rights" section below.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform (such as payment processors, analytics providers, hosting providers, and communication tools), and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SparxPrep, our users, or others.
We use third-party tools including Google Analytics to understand site traffic, Google Forms for doubt submissions, a third-party payment gateway to process payments, and Google Sign-In for authentication. These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they collect and handle data, and we encourage you to review them. Your Google Auth credentials are never stored directly on our servers.
We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption in transit and secure database access controls, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our services. We may retain certain information for longer periods where required to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in the "Your Rights" section.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and withdraw any consent you previously provided (for example, for WhatsApp/SMS updates). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address in the "Contact Us" section below. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe as required under applicable law.
The Platform is intended for users who are at least 16 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below this age without verifiable parental or guardian consent. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
Our Platform and third-party service providers may store or process data on servers located outside of India. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to be protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
In accordance with applicable Indian law, if you have any grievance regarding the processing of your personal data or this Privacy Policy, you may contact our designated Grievance Officer at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge and address grievances within the timelines prescribed under applicable law.
If you have any questions or wish to request data access, correction, or deletion, contact our support team.
SparxPrep reserves the right to update this policy. Continued use of sparxprep.in constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy.
